Self-Defense Classes in Miami
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was shaped by the idea that a smaller person can control a larger one with leverage and position. That makes it one of the most practical ways to train self-defense.

What self-defense training looks like here
Classes focus on skills you can actually practice: keeping distance, getting back to your feet, escaping when someone is on top of you, and controlling a person without needing to strike.
The difference is resistance. Techniques are drilled first, then tested against a partner who is trying to stop them. That's how you learn what works for you.
Awareness and decision-making
Training under pressure teaches you to breathe, think and make decisions while uncomfortable. No class can promise how any real situation will go, but regular practice builds habits that are far better than none.
Striking and conditioning
Students who want stand-up skills can add Muay Thai, which covers distance, striking and the clinch. Both programs build the conditioning to keep going when you're tired.
