Mini Champions Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

3 - 5 YEARS OLD

The first step on the mat. At this age the goal is not competition, it is body awareness, listening skills and falling in love with training.

Professor Henrique Gama Filho teaching Mini Champions Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students on the academy mats

Classes are short, fast-moving and built around games. Obstacle courses, animal movements and tag-style drills teach balance, coordination and how to fall safely without a child ever feeling like they are in a lesson.

Structure is introduced gently: bowing on the mat, lining up, waiting your turn and listening to the coach. These small rituals are what later become discipline.
